Within 10 minutes of the city centre you are in the rural towns and hamlets on the A377 road to Barnstaple. You can buy fresh free range eggs at farmshops in the quaint villages of HalfMoon and Newton St Cyres. Visit pubs, cheap independent bookshops and discover old churches in the bustling market town of Crediton.
On the doorstep of the sprawling but magnificent centre of Exeter you are in the Devon countryside breathing in that lovely clean air.

The nearest beach to Exeter is the fabulous Victorian seaside town of Exmouth. Get ready to clear those cobwebs away with a stroll along the promenade. All of this only 11 miles from Exeter!
The beaches here are long and wide with plenty of room to build those sandcastles. If you’re a watersports type you’ll be on those waves enjoying some amazing surfing in no time! A day at the seaside just 30 minutes from Exeter!
Teignmouth is even nearer than Exmouth – the jewel in the crown of Devon holiday spots! A seaside town close to Torquay on the English Riviera that is gradually being restored to its former glory. Holidaymakers and locals enjoy newly rejuvenated attractions like the trendy Pavillions– the local arts and music hub. And above all else, you can’t beat Teignmouth’s lovely big beach to stretch out on!

It’s packed to the seams with style and romance – exactly what you need on your wedding day! Most important of all is that it’s on the doorstep of Exeter and so ever so handy to get to by train from London!
An escape from city life, surrounded by beautiful countryside and with its 5 acres of gardens, Huntsham offers peace, quiet and relaxation.
